Dr. Connie Lin Yao –  Board Certified Pediatrician, Kaiser Permanente

Developed a multidisciplinary team with representatives from the various Orange County Police Departments, County of Orange Social Services Agency (SSA), Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), Kaiser Permanente, and the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine to perform community and partner presentations on child abuse assessment, diagnosis and referral.

Organized and conducted the Annual Child Abuse & Maltreatment Conference which provides continuing education to 200+ local professionals. Each annual conference features a variety of brand-new trending topics, speakers and scenarios that provide training and allow inter-disciplinary discussions that are relevant and useful to the attendees.

Created a fully virtual and online accessible bimonthly Child Maltreatment Training Series that provides continuing education credits for professionals.
