Focus Area and Project:

  • Improving coordination of care and treatment for abused and neglected children
  • Change behavioral health screening and referrals for all child welfare involved youth with an eye towards rapid identification and more comprehensive linkage to resources and treatment

Performed a study of Orangewood Children & Family Center adolescent reentries to determine permanency barriers for youth.

Completed trauma informed training for mental health providers that led to increased trauma identification and the development of extensive trauma focused CBT resources.
